Smonjirez New Member Oct 8, The control pin has nothing to do with decoupling. Smonjirez New Member Oct 9, Should I do that? Did you try to sequence two? You do have a resistor in series with the LED? Boncuk New Member Oct 6, Datasheets, Manuals or Parts. If output current is close to maximum increase the value of C1 accordingly. But if you’re talking about another condensator connected to another input or something, could you please modify my circuit and post it?

The datasheet for the LM says to use a 0. Replacement Transformer Started by ncag Today at 7: The circuit will work alright if you cascade the counters. This stays the same when I mount more LEDs to the other ports, it’s not how it’s supposed to be. The datasheet for the Cmos Intersil’s ICM shows that an ordinary causes a supply current spike of mA when its output switches. Hey, I’m kinda new to this forum, but I have a question. Smonjirez New Member Oct 6, Click here to register now.

The datasheet for National’s ordinary the LM shows that it needs two supply bypass capacitors to keep other ICs from crashing when the output switches. Got part of the scheme from internet Knight Rider lights for model cars and extended it myself with another additional chip to use 8 LEDs in this “back and forth” configuration. Yes that was my first attempt but it bcf4017 so hard I switched back to just one chip, but it still behaves very odd.

Weird 4017 behaviour

But now I’m not even getting one chip to work right. Well I haven’t ground pin 11 indeed. Boncuk New Member Oct 9, I’m currently working on a knight rider scanner.

Else I still have no idea what to do.

Why don’t people read the datasheets?? If you don’t then the circuit probably will not work properly. I think you are talking about the 0,1uF capacitor which should be connected to pin 5 control?

Potentiometer Questions Started by norbss Yesterday at Attached is a proper datasheeet circuitry for the NE The problem is, I’ve got the timer to work, no problem there, can adjust the pulsing speed with a k potentiometer just mounted a LED to pin 3 datashest a ohm resistorno problems there.

But, it flashes totally randomly and in variating brightness also totally random.

Plus, I don’t see any problems with how my chip functions, that one just works fine imo. To participate you need to register. Your CD is not connected to 0V so it cannot do anything. But, when I connect pin 3 from the timer to pin 14 from the chip and of course the 0V, reset and enable pins to the 0V linethe eatasheet is kinda weird.
