I cant change what our lives were like when they were growing up but by reading this book, I was able to work with some toxic adult children with negative attitudes and put it right. That of living with people that drain you with an bug of negativity. I’ve noticed more and more the increase q toxic people in my life and the life of my spouse. He has so many examples, and I loved his down to earth remoinders of how people really work and practical solutions for our many relationship quanderies.

If you are only ever going to read one self-help porcuipne, then I recommend this one. Some solid advice in this one on how to manage relationships with toxic people and how to recognize toxic behaviors in ourselves. What a difference it makes to focus on positively changing yourself.

I read this book before the Cruise and it really helped me deal effectively with adult children with toxic attitudes. For All Eternity John L. His case stories and examples are clear and he addresses the unspoken question of when to call it quits with “porcupines” and what you can do if you stay.
I listened to it as a book on CD, read and commented by the author. I think this is a very helpful book. I am guessing it’s probably the most polished of all the versions. And even more While I had come to realize a lot of the suggestions in this book, it was good to see it in writing. Lundd in little things, he reminds us that we need to always act in a way that we are the best we can be.
